MJ Resident Charged with Rape

A Mount Jewett resident is in jail on rape charges after allegedly having sex with a girl younger than 13. 43-year-old Johnnie Lee allegedly had sex with the girl between June of 2002 and this year. In addition to rape, Lee is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and indecent assault. Lee is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $300,000 bail.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
