Mount Jewett Man Indicted
A former Mount Jewett man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for sexually exploiting children.
The indictment says 44-year-old Johnnie Gale Lee received and attempted to receive, and possessed and attempted to possess, computer images depicting minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
Lee faces a sentence of 30 years in prison, a fine of $500,000, or both.
Last summer, Lee was charged with rape for allegedly having sex with a girl younger than 13 between June of 2002 and 2008.
