Poll: Paterson's Numbers Slipping
Governor David Paterson's popularity continues to slide among New York voters.
A poll released this morning by the Sienna College Research Institute shows that only 40 percent approve of the job Paterson is doing. That's down from 64 percent in November.
Sienna spokesman Steve Greenberg attributed the slide to the way Paterson handled picking a replacement for Hillary Clinton in the Senate; his controversial state budget proposals; and a general lack of direction within his administration.
