Four Men Run Afoul of the Law

Four Jamestown men ran afoul of the law over the weekend while playing a joke that a bystander didn't think was very funny.

Russell Edwards, Robert Gordon, Eric Dahlgren and Timothy Lester – all in their mid-20s – have been charged with disorderly conduct.

Police say three of the men were wearing ski masks and dark clothing and pushed the fourth man, who was wearing a chicken suit, to the ground. Two of the men were holding fake guns.

A concerned citizen called 9-1-1 to report the incident.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
