Fumo Bail Set at $2 Million

A judge has set bail at $2 million for former Senator Vince Fumo after his conviction on more than 130 counts this morning in a corruption case.

Fumo must post his Philadelphia mansion and three other properties to secure the bail while he awaits sentencing.

Prosecutors consider the wealthy Fumo is a flight risk and had asked the judge to revoke bail.

Fumo faces up to 20 years in prison and millions in restitution. No sentencing date has been set.

Fumo was convicted of defrauding the state Senate, a charity and a museum of more than $3.5 million.
