It's Official:
Puglio is New Head Football Coach

Following Monday night's Bradford Area School Board meeting, Bradford High Athletic Dirctor Tim Walter congratulates Jeff Puglio on his his unanimous appointment as new Bradford Owls Head Varsity Football Coach.

Director of Human Resources Sam Johnson explained that the district advertised locally, and statewide, for the position. A committee including Johnson, Walter, BAHS Principal Ken Coffman and two board members reviewed the applications.

Puglio also met with school superintendent Sandra Romanowski for her approval before his name was brought before the board.

When addressing the board, Puglio said he plans to "be the face of the program, not just with the high school teams, but throughout the entire community."

"It will be my responsibility to make sure my players understand that I'm teaching them about life so when they leave Bradford high, and leave Bradford high football, they're not only ready to prepare for college, but for the rest of their lives," he said.

Puglio also said he's excited to get started.

You can listen to Puglio's comments to the school board HERE.

You can also hear Sandra Romanowski's superindentendent's report HERE.
Among the topics she discusses are Mark Havers' trip to the PIAA wrestling championships, the BAHS swim team's accomplishments (and their trip to Bucknell Wednesday and Thursday) and the successful union contract negotiations.
