Nicholson is A10 Rookie of the Year
St. Bonaventure freshman Andrew Nicholson has been named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year.
Nicholson is the first player in program history to be named the A-10 Rookie of the Year and just the eighth to earn a spot on the All-Rookie team.
Nicholson leads all A-10 rookies in six different categories, including rebounding, blocks, field goal percentage, offensive rebounds (64), double-doubles (three) and 10-plus rebounding games (three).
Nicholson and the 11th-seeded Bonnies (15-14, 6-10) will make their first A-10 Tournament appearance since 2005 on Wednesday, when they take on sixth-seeded Richmond (17-14, 9-7) in the opening round.
