Olean Teen Shot; Man Jailed
An Olean man is in jail after allegedly shooting a 17-year-old boy early Sunday morning.
Police say 39-year-old Rafael Sanjurjo shot the boy at around 2:30 at the intersection of Queen and Division streets.
The teen was taken by Mercy Flight to ECMC, where he is in the ICU. Police say his injuries do not appear to be life threatening. His name has not been released.
Sanjurjo has been charged with assault, first-degree, criminal use of a firearm and endangering the welfare of a child.
