Teens Facing Assault Charges

Two 16-year-olds who beat each other bloody during an Ultimate Fighting Championship brawl will be charged with simple assault.

The boys met outside an elementary school in Corry Friday afternoon to fight. Police say teens in Corry had set up the fights in tournament style and the winner would advance to fight again.

The mother of one of the boys brought him to Corry police Friday night after he came home with bruises and cuts on his face and claimed he had been jumped. The other boy was being treated for head injuries at Corry Memorial Hospital.

Police says they are filing the charges because of the extent of the boys' injuries.
