Dan Hahn, Youngsville High School
5’8” 192lbs. Center and Defensive Tackle
Dan plans to persue a career in Culinary Arts, then buying a home and starting a family. Dan was an Outstanding Scholar Athlete, Most Outstanding Lineman, Certificate of Achievement PA Business Week, National Technical Honor Society and Student of the Month. Dan stated the reason for playing in the Big 30 game is “I like to play football and it is a great honor to be picked for this game. Dan’s biggest thrill playing football is sacking the quarterback.
Evan Abplanalp, Coudersport High School
6’ 290lbs. Tackle and Defensive Guard
Evan plans to attend Penn State University, majoring in Kinesiology, then continue on to graduate school and receive a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Evan’s honors include; 2007, 2008 Coudersport Falcons Lineman of the Year, 2007, 2008 Kevin B. Updegraff Outstanding Lineman of the Year, Distinguished Honor Roll and Vice President of the National Honor Society. Evan stated “It’s an outstanding honor to be selected for the Big 30 and I am very proud to be able to participate in the game. I’m also glad that I have the opportunity to play football one last time.” Evan continued on about his biggest thrill while playing football, “My biggest thrill was just playing under those Friday night lights. There’s nothing like playing under the lights with bands playing, and screaming. It’s amazing.”
Patrick Zigler, Warren Area Senior High School
6’2” 250lbs. Offensive Guard Tackle and Defensive Guard
Patrick plans on attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania and major in communications. Patrick’s awards and honors include; Blue Hammer Award, 2 year front line MVP, National Honor Society, Football captain his senior year, 3 year Iron Man Award, Region 5, District 10 1st Team Offensive Tackle. Patrick stated why he would like to play in the Big 30 game, “I love football and it’s an honor. Plus it will be fun playing with my former opponents”. His biggest thrill was winning his last game of the season his senior year.

Adam Vavrecan, Hindsdale Central School
5’8” 210lbs. Offensive Guard and Defensive Linebacker/Tackle
Adam plans on attending college and the start a career. Adams was selected as Most Likely to Excel. Adam was asked why do you want to play in the Big so game and he replied’ “I love football and could be my last chance to play.” Adams biggest thrill while playing football was tackling the runner. “I love the feeling of one on one and coming up victorious”. Adams hobbies include playing sports and working out.
Kyle Wittrock, Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central
6’ 170lbs., Fullback, Linebacker
Kyle plans on attending Jamestown Community College for 2 years in the Crimminal Justice Field. Kyle’s honors include being named as a second team all-star, and was captain of his football team. Kyle stated about being selected to the Big 30 All-Star game, “It will probably be the last game I play in. It is an honor to be selected to play in the Big 30 All-Star game. His biggest thrill is “standing under that upright the adrenaline rushing, it all just seems right. The first snap of the game, your first touch of the ball”.
Luke Hellwig, Portville Central School
5’ 9” 165lbs. Running Back and Defensive Back
Luke plans on attending college to study Architecture. Luke stated “ I have always wanted to play in the Big 30 game, and my brother played in the and so I do too”. Lukes biggest thrill while playing football is scoring touchdowns. His favorite football team is the Dallas Cowboys and his favorite player is Jason Witten.
