Former Park Manager Charged

The former manager of Kinzua Bridge State Park and two other state parks is facing charges for allegedly using a state credit card to buy more than $7,000 worth of merchandise for his personal use.

54-year-old Barrett Clark of Venango County allegedly made the purchases between January of 2004 and July of 2007. Clark was also the manger of Bendigo State Park near Johnsonburg and Elk State Park near the East Branch Dam.

Among the items he allegedly bought were a dishwasher for his home, two pairs of binoculars and stuffed animals. In all, there were 37 questionable transactions.

Clark is free on $15,000 bail.
