I-90 Ramps Closed After Burglary
State police near Erie are investigating a burglary at a fireworks store that prompted a hazardous materials scare and closed two ramps to Interstate 90.
Police say somebody broke into Phantom Fireworks in North East Township at about 10 o'clock Sunday night, and left a gallon-sized plastic container full of flammable liquid inside the store.
Police removed the fuel without incident. The nearby highway ramps reopened after the Erie County Hazardous Materials Response Team cleared the area.
