Bradford Men in Catt County Jail
Two Bradford men accused of stealing cigarettes from a Salamanca convenience store are in Cattaraugus County Jail.
61-year-old Charles L. Johnson allegedly stole three cartons of cigarettes from the Cloud and Co. store and was stopped by an employee who demanded that he give them back. He gave back two of the cartons, but drove away, running over the clerk's foot. A witness followed Johnson, and said he was running vehicles off the road and driving on railroad tracks outside the city.
28-year-old Charles M. Johnson Sr. was charged with endangering the welfare of children and petit larceny for allegedly participating in the incident.
