DuBois Man Run Over, Killed
A DuBois man is dead after being run over by a vehicle during a large party involving underage drinking.
23-year-old Joshua Giles, who has relatives in Elk County, died at the scene near Falls Creek on Saturday.
Police say someone ran over Giles while backing down the driveway of a home on Route 219 in Washington Township. The driver fled north on Route 219.
Police say about 35 other people left the party after the incident, but one person did call 9-1-1 and stayed until police and an ambulance arrived.
Police are continuing their investigation
Giles was a 2004 graduate of DuBois Area High School.
His maternal grandparents are Joe and Kay Deasey of Brockport
