Gardners Support Meals on Wheels
Ethan Flexman, 9, and Owen Flexman, 7, of Duke Center sharied their gardens with the Red Cross Meals on Wheels program by growing and harvesting squash, onions, radishes and beans in their backyard garden.The "Grow a Row to Go!" program gives local gardners the opportunity to make a difference by donating their surplus garden vegetables to the Meals on Wheels program. The Red Cross says the extra, fresh vegetables are a nice addition to the program and are greatly enjoyed by the program participants.
