Road Work in Potter County
Work will begin Monday to replace a box culvert on Brookland Road in Ulysses Township.
The work will require Route 1001 to be closed while PennDOT crews do the repairs.
The work is expected to go through Friday, August 28.
Traffic will use Route 449 South to Route 6 West as a alternative route. Detour signs will be in place.
Also, work will begin Monday to replace a pipe that runs under Route 4007/Dingman Run Road in Eulalia Township.
The project is scheduled to be completed by 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Plans to begin the project this Thursday were abated due to weather considerations.
Route 4007 will be closed for a period of a few hours throughout the day as a Potter County Maintenance crew replaces the pipe, which is located at Segment 60 of Route 4007 outside of Coudersport. Detour signs will be posted routing traffic around the project during any closure.
All work is weather dependent.
