Flooding Closes Elk County Road

State Route 2007 (Old Kersey Road) is closed at this hour in Elk County due to flooding.

The road is closed both directions.

The road is located off of Route 255, South of St Marys and provides access to the village of Kersey.

PennDOT expects the road to re-open by noon today.

Detour uses Route 948 and Route 255.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
