Forest County Road Closed by Flooding

Dawson Road (Route 4002) in Forest County is closed in directions at the intersection with Jamison Run Road in Tionesta because flooding has caused erosion.

PennDOT expects the road to re-open by 8 p.m.

The detour is Route 4002 to Route 127 to Route 62 to Route 36 to Route 4001 and back to Route 4002.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
