Ex-NFL Player Charged with Theft
Former NFL linebacker Lee Woodall is accused of using a $400,000 loan from a Pennsylvania state agency to pay for trips, cars and jewelry for himself.
The state attorney general's office said today that Woodall got the loan from the Pennsylvania Minority Business Development Authority to open a Chester County fitness center in May of 2005.
Prosecutors say that in less than a year the money was gone and that Woodall used it to pay for restaurant meals, airfare and furniture.
He's charged with theft.
