Cops: Man Drove Over Woman's Leg

A Coudersport man is in jail after being accused of running over a woman’s leg with his Jeep Cherokee.

In a fax sent to WESB and The HERO, State Police say 40-year-old William Lindsley and 31-year-old Michelle Nelson, also of Coudersport, were in an argument while driving in Sweden Township. Nelson got of the Jeep and started walking home. Police say Lindsley then hit Nelson with the vehicle then ran over her leg.

Police say their investigation revealed that Lindsley had been under the influence of a controlled substance at the time of the incident – between 8:42 and 9:49 Wednesday night. He’s charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, DUI and violations of the drug act.

He was jailed Thursday when he couldn’t post $100,000 bail.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
