Cops: Man Hit Two Cars on Purpose

A Cherry Creek man faces numerous charges after police said he intentionally crashed into two occupied vehicles on Sunday.

Sheriff’s deputies say 25-year-old Austin Slater drove into a woman’s vehicle in Villenova at around 2:45 a.m., causing the the vehicle to roll over a guardrail.
A person in the area heard the collision, and drove to the scene to help. The woman whose car was hit got inside the Good Samaritan’s vehicle, which Slater also hit.

Deputies say the woman, who Slater knows, suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment.

Slater fled the scene, but was found in Cherry Creek and charged with reckless endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident and driving while intoxicated.
He’s in Chautauqua County Jail.
