Three More Fire Bombers Plead Guilty

Three more men have pleaded guilty to fire-bombing an apartment occupied by several St. Bonaventure students last October.

22-year-old Adam Peterson and 23-year-old Donald Phearsdorf, both of Allegany, and 21-year-old Mark Braithwaite of Olean all pleaded guilty to assault in connection to the October 17 incident in Allegany. Peterson and Braithwaite also pleaded guilty to arson.

Peterson and Phearsdorf will be sentenced this coming October 17. Braithwaite will be sentenced November 14.

Earlier this year Andrew Piccirillo of Portville and Steven Sprague of Olean, pleaded guilty to arson and assault for throwing a Molotov cocktail into the apartment, and were both sentenced to probation.
