Jeep Hits House in Carroll

A Jeep hit a house this afternoon in the Chautauqua County Town of Carroll after the driver lost control when a deer ran into the road.

Sheriff’s deputies say at about 2:30 the Jeep driven by 17-year-old Brandon Cantrell of Frewsburg hit the house on Frew Run Road, damaging both the vehicle and the foundation of the house.

No one was hurt. Cantrell was charged with unlicensed operation. The owner of the Jeep, 63-year-old Paul Caylor of Jamestown, is charged with permitting unlicensed operation.
