Two Girls Hurt in Locker Room Fight

Two members of Port Allegany High School’s volleyball team suffered minor injuries during a locker room fight after their last game with Northern Potter.

State Police say the two teams shared a locker room and a Northern Potter student was upset after her team lost. When leaving the locker room, she pushed through members of the Port Allegany team, which caused a fight that injured two Lady Gators.

The Northern Potter School District has disciplined the student. State police have not filed formal charges.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
