Two Hurt in Rollover Crash Near Eldred

Two men were hurt after being thrown from a pickup truck during a rollover crash near Champlin Hill Road in Eldred at just after midnight Sunday.

State police say the truck driven by 22-year-old Grant Preston of Duke Center was apparently speeding when it went out of control on a curve, left the road and rolled over twice.

Preston suffered a minor injury. His passenger, 26-year-old Phillip Nelson of Canisteo, was taken by ambulance to BRMC for treatment of moderate injuries.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
