Bona Women Play on ESPN2 at 5 P.M.
PHILADELPHIA – Top-seeded St. Bonaventure (29-2) faces third-seeded Dayton (22-6) in the finals of the 2012 Buick Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship Monday evening at 5 p.m. on ESPN2. A viewing party in the Rathskeller on the University's campus will be held, and more information will be coming shortly.

~ This is St. Bonaventure's first trip to the finals of the A-10 Championship; both Bonaventure and Dayton will be looking for their first A-10 title
~ The Bonnies have won 18 games in a row; they defeated #8 seed La Salle, 68-53, in the quarterfinals before dismissing #5 seed Saint Joseph's on its home floor in the semifinals, 78-52
~ Bonaventure has not trailed for a single second in either of its first two tournament games, winning the contests by a combined 41 points
~ Bonaventure leads the A-10 in defense (53 points per game), while Dayton leads the conference in offense (71 points per game); in their regular-season meeting, Bonaventure held Dayton to an A-10 season-low 55 points
~ After allowing Dayton to score 21 points in the first eight minutes in their regular-season contest, the Bonnies limited the Flyers to just 34 points over the final 32 minutes of the game; senior Megan Van Tatenhove hit the game-winning shot with 23 seconds remaining as Bonaventure erased a 15-point road deficit to claim a 56-55 victory
