Kevin Lord

Kevin was the District 9 “Rookie of the Year” in basketball, his team’s MVP and a Northern Tier League all star team selection both his junior and senior years. He wants to play in the Raabe Classic because it is an opportunity to play with and against the top athletes from New York and Pennsylvania. His greatest thrill was playing under the lights and knowing that family and friends were in the stands cheering for him. Hunting, fishing and trap shooting are among his favorite things to do. Kevin is a fan of New England’s Wes Welker and the Miami Dolphins.

Matt Wandover
Bolivar-Richburg Central School

Off: tackle Def: tackle

Matt is proud of having been selected as a captain of the football team. His greatest thrill was working with younger kids as an assistant coach in the local midget league program. Height: 5’10” Weight: 170 lbs.

Thomas will attend Alfred University in September and study athletic training. He was named the Gator’s defensive player of the year for the 2010 season. Thomas wants to play in the Raabe Classic because from the time he was a child his father portrayed playing in the Big 30 as a worthy goal. His best memory was scoring two touchdowns, one on a 70 yard fumble recovery in the Portville game and winning back the “Rocking Chair” trophy. Playing video games and boating are Thomas’ favorite pastimes and Reggie Bush and the Buffalo Bills are his NFL favorites.

Jimmie Werner

Jimmie finds it a great honor to be chosen to play in the Big 30 Game and welcomes the chance to put the pads on one last time.
