Sam Rohrer Coming to Bradford
US Senate candidate Sam Rohrer will hold a Town Hall meeting at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Masonic Center on South Avenue.
The Republican is hoping to get the nomination and run against incumbent Bob Casey, a Democrat, in the fall.
Rohrer, who is from Berks County, is a former member of the state House of Representatiaves.
Before the event in Bradford, he will be at Hoss's Restaurant in St. Marys for "Coffee with Sam" from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Other declared Republican candidates are: Tim Burns, former business owner from Eighty Four; David Christian, a Bucks County businessman; Bedford County pharmacist John Kensinger II; Marc Scaringi, a lawyer and former Rick Santorum aide who's been running for about a year; former coal company owner Tom Smith, of Armstrong County; retired Army colonel John Vernon, of Tioga County; and Chester County entrepreneur Steven Welch.
