Fire Damages Lamont House
Fire did $200,000 worth of damage to an Elk County home Monday afternoon.
State police fire marshal Greg Agosti says the blaze at the two-story house on Old Lamont Road in the Village of Lamont started at about 2:45 p.m.
No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The house is owned by Alan and Sheryl Pence of Kane.
The Highland Township Fire Department wa assisted by Kane, Johnsonburg, Ridgway, Mount Jewett and Ludlow fire departments.
