Teen Allegedly Stole, Crashed SUV

Police have released more information about the teenager who allegedly stole an SUV and took troopers on a chase onto Interstate 80.

They say the 17-year-old boy took the keys to an SUV belonging to a Kane woman Sunday night at the Abraxas facility in Marienville, then drove on routes 66 and 322, where a trooper saw him and followed him onto Interstate 80.

The boy lost control in Jefferson County at around 10:45 p.m., crashed into a guardrail and hit another vehicle.

The people in the other vehicle were not hurt. The teen was taken to Brookville Hospital and, when he was released, was taken back to Cornell Abraxas. He is facing charges of escape, fleeing and eluding, theft and assault.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
