No Tweeting from Sandusky Courtroom
Judge John Cleland has changed his mind about reporters being able to tweet and text from the courtroom during the child sex abuse trial of Jerry Sandusky.
Last week Cleland said tweeting and texting would be OK, but he said upon further reflection allowing reporters to tweet from the courtroom would break a longstanding rule banning broadcasting from inside Pennsylvania courtrooms.
Also today, Cleland ruled that alleged victims cannot avoid disclosure of their names by testifying under pseudonyms.
Jury selection in the trial of the former Penn State assistant football coach starts tomorrow. Sandusky denies allegations that he abused 10 boys over a 15-year period.
