Knife-Toting Reception Guest Jailed
A guest at a wedding reception is in jail after allegedly threatening a bartender with a knife.
Sheriff’s deputies say 29-year-old Jillian Chludzinski of Cheektowaga was a guest at the reception at Peak ‘n’ Peak on Saturday night when she was told she wouldn’t be served any more alcohol because she was visibly intoxicated. She threatened to stab the bar manager, left the bar, and then went back and tried to get another drink. When the bartender wouldn’t give it to her she allegedly pulled out a knife and swung it at the bar manager.
A nearby security officer got the knife away from Chludzinski and detained her until deputies arrived. She was charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon, and was sent to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $4,000 bail.
