Her ex-husband, Greg Eldred, shot her in front of the congregation as she played piano. Members of the congregation subdued him, and he was later taken into custody by police at the church.
Sitler died at the scene.
She was a music teacher in the Northern Potter School District.
Eldred is an elementary music teacher in Coudersport.
