Two Thefts in Potter County

Someone broke into a Ulysses home late last week and stole some money.

Police say the burglar forced his way into George Barnett’s house through a side door between 5 o’clock Thursday afternoon and 8 o’clock Friday morning, went to an office room and took about $125 in currency and change from a desk drawer.

Someone made off with a large amount of jewelry from a Roulette home.

Police say someone between October 4 and Thursday someone took the jewelry from Jennifer Lynch’s Maple Street home.

Anyone with information on either of these incidents is asked to contact Coudersport-based state police.
