50 Firearms Stolen in Otto Township

50 firearms were stolen from an Otto Township building over the weekend.

Police say at least two people got into the former Taylor and Robbins Gun Shop on Prentisvale Road sometime between 8 o’clock Saturday night and 8 o’clock Sunday morning and then left with the guns, which are valued at about $75,000.

The business had been closed for some time before the burglary, and police did not say why there were so many guns inside.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Kane-based state police.
