Ex-Teacher Pleads Not Guilty to Rape

A former teacher in the Cattaraugus-Little Valley School District has pleaded not guilty to rape charges.

40-year-old Timothy Retchless of Olean was in court today facing 17 charges, including four counts of rape.

He is accused of having sex with a minor at least four times between 2009 and 2010. Retchless resigned from his job with the school district in March of 2011.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
