Fire at Crosby American Legion

Fire heavily damaged the American Legion in Crosby late Tuesday night.

Firefighters were called to the scene at around 11:15 p.m. and were there into the early morning hours.

The Clermont, Smethport and Port Allegany fire departments responded.

No further information has been released yet.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
