Inmate Facing More Charges

An inmate in the Chautauqua County Jail is accused of damaging the facility’s fire suppression system.

Sheriff’s deputies say at about 7:55 Thursday night 30-year-old Jedediah Shaw of Jamestown used a broom handle to smash three sprinkler heads, causing more than $460 in damage.

He’s charged with felony criminal mischief and obstructing governmental administration.
