Man Pleads Guilty in Connection to
Attempted Armed Robbery
A Franklinville man has pleaded guilty to attempting to rob the Freedom One Stop gas station in August of last year.
30-year-old Kenny Everts was wearing a mask and displayed a weapon while demanding cash on August 18. The two clerks didn’t give him any money and Everts left the store.
He spotted a short time later in Franklinville, and later arrested for attempted robbery. He pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of menacing, and will be sentenced on April 22.
