Port Allegany Man Jailed for
Warren County Drug Store Robbery

A Port Allegany man is in Warren County Jail after robbing a pharmacy early Monday afternoon.

Police say 22-year-old Ryan Bodecker demanded morphine and syringes while robbing Crone’s Drug Store on Liberty Street. Drug store owner Chris Darling gave him two pills and a packet of syringes, but then followed Bodecker as he ran from the store.

Darling followed Bodecker to East Street, where the suspect ran through some backyards. Police took him into custody in a garage at an East Street house.

Bodecker is charged with robbery, criminal trespass, theft and possession of a controlled substance. District Judge Glenn Carlson set bail at $75,000.

He was never all that right in the head. Hope he gets better though.. he's clearly developed drug issues since I used to hang out with him. That's too bad.
