Teens Escape Injury in Morning Crashes

Two teenagers escaped injury in separate accidents this morning.

Police say at about 8 a.m. 17-year-old Dakota Vaughn of Eldred was on Indian Creek Road, just east of Loop Road, when his SUV went off the road, sheared off a utility pole and traveled through the front yard of a house.

At 8:50 a.m. 16-year-old Kali Gross of Shinglehouse was on Route 44 in Ceres Township when her pickup truck lost traction, spun around, went up an embankment and hit a concrete culvert.

Police issued traffic citations to both teens.
