Two Hurt in Tuesday Crashes
One person was hurt in a crash last week at the intersection of Route 6 and Fishing Creek Road in Roulette Township.
In a report released today, state police say at 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday 62-year-old Rodger Lewis of Coudersport was on Fishing Creek Road when his car couldn’t stop at the intersection and hit a car driven by 47-year-old Karen McClelland of Rixford.
McClelland was taken by ambulance to Charles Cole Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
At 4:10 Tuesday afternoon in Homer Township in Potter County, a car driven by 25-year-old Kevin Chelton of Corry was on Route 872 when it slid off the road and hit a tree.
Chelton was not hurt but his passenger, 24-year-old Karina Valenti of Austin, was taken to Charles Cole for treatment of minor injuries. Police say she was not wearing a seat belt.
