Young Buffalo Design Entrepreneur to Speak for
Pitt-Bradford Executive Speaker Series

Patrick Finan, founder and principal owner of Block Club, a progressive creative design studio located in Buffalo, N.Y., will speak at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford’s Executive Speaker Series March 4.

Finan’s talk will take place from 11 a.m. to noon in Harriett B. Wick Chapel. Coffee and networking will begin at 10:30 a.m. Questions may be submitted in advance or during the talk via Twitter at @BlockClub by including the hashtag #UPBESS (for University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Executive Speaker Series.) The talk is free and open to the public.

Block Club works to build and strengthen brands for forward-thinking companies and organizations, connect locally minded businesses and customers and create products that inform, inspire and build community.

Finan was the youngest Western New Yorker to be included in Business First’s 40 Under 40 list and was named a Rising Star in advertising by the Advertising Club of Buffalo. In the last few years, under Finan’s leadership, Block Club’s 10-person team has pushed out some of Western New York’s most visible and stylish products and campaigns in addition to work for its own brands, Block Club Magazine, City Dining Cards and Fridge Phrases. Recent work includes popular campaigns for Freed Maxick, Insyte Consulting, Buffalo Niagara Enterprise and the University of Buffalo.

Finan spoke last fall at the TEDXBuffalo Event, and in December was named a “Buffalo Game Changer” by BuffaloSpree.com.

The Executive Speaker Series is sponsored by the Pitt-Bradford business management program.
