Couple Jailed After Domestic
Involving Baseball Bat

City of Bradford Police responded to a domestic incident involving a baseball bat Friday night.

They were called to 84 Maplewood Avenue, where Tonya Cogdell and Norwood Cogdell had been arguing, and then started punching, kicking and shoving each other and pulling each other’s hair. Police say Tonya Cogdell grabbed a small metal baseball bat and hit Norwood with it.

Both Cogdells required medical attention at BRMC.

Norwood was charged with simple assault and harassment and was sent to McKean County Jail on $10,000 cash bail. Tonya was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment. She was sent to jail on $20,000 cash bail.
