Portville Man Gets Probation

A Portville man who violated a court order by attempting to harm another person will spend five years on probation after being convicted of attempted assault.

28-year-old Michael Wright attempted to assault the person on February 18 in the Village of Portville.

He’ll also be on probation for three years for his conviction on a charge of criminal contempt.
