Bradford Woman Critically Injured

A Bradford woman suffered critical injuries when the motorcycle she was a passenger on hit a car early Sunday morning on East Main Street.

Police say Jeffrey Stack Jr. of Bradford was driving the motorcycle when Andrew Wegemer-Silsby backed out of the driveway at 200 East Main. Stack couldn’t stop the bike in time, and it hit Wegemer-Silsby's vehicle.

30-year-old Mildred Pressler of Bradford was found in the shrubbery surrounding Wright Monumental Works at 212 East Main. She was treated on the scene for critical, life-threatening injuries. She and Stack were both flown to UPMC Hamot in Erie for further treatment.

Wegemer-Silsby wasn’t hurt. The investigation is continuing.
