FT Police Looking for Suspicious Van, Driver
At about 8 o’clock this morning the van drove past a girl on Looker Mountain Trail near the intersection with South Kendall Avenue, and then turned around and drove past her again.
But on August 27, the van was following a girl walking home from school. At the intersection of Bordell and Summit roads, she noticed a vehicle behind her that pulled into two driveways on Bordell. At one point, the driver got out of the van and started to walk toward her. The girl ran to the home of a person she knew, and two dogs ran out. The dogs approached the man, and then he got back into the van and left the area.
The van is a white, older model conversion van and the driver is a white man, believed to be in his 60s with gray hair.
Anyone with information regarding this vehicle or the driver is asked to contact the Foster Township Police Department. Anyone who sees the van in their neighborhood should call 9-1-1 or the police immediately.
Police learned of the first incident through social media, and are asking that the public report any suspicious behavior to them first and not rely on social media as a way to warn the public.
