Announces Launch of 2013-14 Fund Drive

The Kane Area United Fund is pleased to announce the launch of the 2013-2014 fund drive.

Last year’s drive raised a record-breaking $42,000, which is used in the direct benefit of 19 non-profit organizations serving Kane area residents.

“We are thrilled at the response to last year’s campaign,” commented Jennifer Macey, president of the Kane Area United Fund. “We hope to build on the momentum of community mindedness that caused a surge in donations in response to last’s year’s campaign.”

“Kane is a community that cares for its neighbors, and the KAUF agencies appreciate that support as they carry out their work with kids through seniors,” she continued. KAUF agencies include Boy Scouts of America, American Red Cross, CARE for Children, Friends’ Memorial Public Library, Futures Rehabilitation Center, Inc., Girl Scouts of Western PA, Kane Area Community Center, Kane Area Little League, Kane Area Recreational and Cultural Commission, Kane Area Soccer Association, Kane Family Center, Kane Home Health, Kane Senior Center, KIDS Daycare, McKean County 4H, SPCA, The Guidance Center, Visiting Nurses Association, and the Victims’ Resource Center (YWCA).

Donations can be made by mailing a donation to the Kane Area United Fund at 54 Fraley Street. Many employers offer payroll deduction, and employees can designate their contribution to the Kane Area United Fund to ensure that the donation returns to the Kane area.
