Leadership Change at Hospital Auxiliary

Hauser Set to Retire After 12 Years at Helm

Virginia Hauser, Executive Director of the Bradford Regional Medical Center Auxiliary since 2001, has announced that she will retire this month.

Hauser is widely credited with bringing about a talented board of directors and staff. She has been instrumental in guiding the Auxiliary in supporting the mission and vision of Bradford Regional Medical Center through fundraising and retail efforts. The auxiliary sponsors annual nursing scholarships to area students who express an interest in entering the profession, and conducts several fundraising efforts, both at the hospital and in the community.

Also under Hauser’s leadership is HeartStrings Gift Shop, located in the main lobby of Bradford Regional Medical Center. Jennifer Kirk will remain on as the Gift Shop Supervisor. “Jennifer does a wonderful job at day-to-day operations. She is a true asset to the Auxiliary,” Hauser shared.

The Board of Directors of the Auxiliary along with BRMC’s Administrative team expresses their sincere appreciation to Virginia for her years of service, dedication, and leadership.

Bradford Regional Medical Center Auxiliary is proud to announce that Stephanie Huber, the current Assistant Director of Development for the Bradford Regional Medical Center Foundation, has been selected as the new Executive Director. She will assume those duties along with her current Foundation responsibilities upon Hauser’s retirement on September 15th. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She brings extensive experience and leadership to guide the Auxiliary into the future.
