NY Man Allegedly Fought with Bradford Police
A Tonawanda, New York, man accused of threatening people in downtown Bradford and fighting with police has waived his preliminary hearing.
33-year-old Andre Jackson threatened to beat up three men in the Tops parking lot in the early morning hours of August 5 but, according to papers filed in District Judge Dominic Cercone’s office, he left when they said they were going to call police.
Police found him walking down the middle of Main Street and, when they were questioning him, he yelled at them and argued with them until he was put in a holding cell.
Jackson is charged with terroristic threats, harassment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, and is jailed on $5,000 bail.
